Bladesmithing is the craft of creating Knives, Swords, Tomahawks, and other bladed Weapons.

Bladesmithing is a Martial Art, because of the potienal for Combat usage of Blades.

A person who does bladesmithing is said to be a Bladesmith.

History

The art of bladesmithing likely came out of Blacksmithing.

In the past bladesmithing was a secretive craft. And was one of the pillars of what was Warfare and Martial Arts.

Today there has been a movement, by some, to remove all secrecy surrounding the craft, and educated all those about the craft who are willing to learn.
